P2 A Itchy And Scratchy

The itchy and scratchy Assignment

The Itchy and Scratchy assignment was a task set for us to go create foly sounds and use these to fill up the missing sounds. For example 3 sounds I found where a wine glass coming out of the ice. I did this by throwing gravel at a metal pole.

The second sound I recreated was acid burning and I did this by opening a fizzy drink and recording the sound of it.

The third sound I had was a wooden club hitting scratchy and I recreated this by closing the door really quickly and editing the sound down to make it sound hollow.

Sound effects are created by foley artists who have a microphone next to the material they are using to create a new sound. They record the sound and condense it down into a audition file and try to match it to the sound they are trying to replicate

To create a atmospheric sound you need to record the atmosphere with a microphone and put in inside of premier pro. some things you can do to it is enhance it is break down the track and add specific effects such as vocal enhancer on it.

Music for films is created by auchistrators who understand the tones of the movie and what the directors are looking for. Normally music for films is acoustic and then is changed in premier to fit the films needs. The music is created to build tension and it is used for specific scenes where it is required to add emotion. Its all recorded into a mic and then put into a auditon file and editied in such a way that the director likes it

Dialog is recorded by two actors sitting next to each other speaking into the same microphone. Then the dialog is condeced down into a premier pro file and then it is edited together throuhg all other elements
